Indigo Children

The title "indigo children" was originally given to people with the ten attributes described below who were mainly born in the period from 1975 through 1995. Some sources use the term "crystal children" to describe indigos at a young age (younger than age 7); and some state that the children being born today (after the year 2000) are "crystal children" who are more sensitive and spiritually connected than the indigos, who they claim are more warrior-like in nature.

Attributes of Indigo children
They come into the world with a feeling of royalty (and often act like it).
They have a feeling of "deserving to be here," and are surprised when others don't share that.
Self-worth is not a big issue; they often tell the parents "who they are."
They have difficulty with absolute authority (authority without explanation or choice).
They simply will not do certain things; for example, waiting in line is difficult for them.
They get frustrated with systems that are ritually oriented and don't require creative thought.
They often see better ways of doing things, both at home and in school, which makes them seem like "system busters" (nonconforming to any system).
They seem antisocial unless they are with their own kind. If there are no others of like consciousness around them, they often turn inward, feeling like no other human understands them. School is often extremely difficult for them socially.
They will not respond to "guilt" discipline ("Wait till your father gets home and finds out what you did").
They are not shy in letting it be known what they need.



Indigo
An individual who is free from psychosis and knows inherently the rightness or wrongness of a situation, and will follow their life’s plan accordingly to raise the vibration of the planet and advance human consciousness.

Indigo Children
Typically born since 1961 Indigos have, in fact, been arriving on the planet for centuries; however their numbers are now approaching critical mass. Indigos are technically-adept system-busters, who are highly intuitive, non-conformist and yet, empathetically aware individuals. Initially dubbed ‘Indigo’ because of the deep blue predominance of their aura, the ‘Blue’, ‘Star’, ‘Crystal’ and ‘Rainbow’ children are included among their genre, but they themselves are often unaware, or simply happy to ignore such identifying labels.

Indigo Adults
There are Indigo Children in their 20s and 30s prefer to drop the ‘Indigo Children’ tag for that of ‘Indigo adults’. There is really no more to the term than that - it is just a matter of preference for some, while others abandon any reference to such labels completely.

Indigo Scout
Those typically born up until 1975 are known as scouts because they incarnated on Earth to pave the way for the coming Indigo World generations to ensure their safety and success in connecting to their mission.

Indigo Generation
The increased amount of Indigo color present in the aura of newborn babies today represents a new ‘Indigo Generation’. Since the appearance of Indigo Scouts some 30 years ago, the number of babies with a prominent indigo aura has steadily increased. As these newborns continue to grow in numbers they will be regarded as the new Indigo Generation. This represents the manifestation of a new frequency of light consciousness affecting humanity in a global spiritual awakening know as Ascension. Many on the planet are now experiencing the effect of the Indigo Generation – even if they are unaware of its direct manifestation. This could be in the form of finding a closer affinity with nature, an unexplained change of diet or physical sensitivities; an awareness of the environment or simply an inner desire to be more spiritual… hence also the Indigo Generation awareness.

Indigo Awareness
The Indigo’s natural, direct perception of inherent truth, independent of linear brain reasoning. This ability is often why Indigos find it difficult to interact socially, or feel out of sorts within traditional social systems.

Indigo Energy
This term refers to the desire among Indigos to champion a cause, help others or to correct an unjust situation. Indigos are very aware of the need to eliminate greed and corruption and will even find the idea of competition somewhat of an ‘alien’ concept to them.

Indigo Power
This is the Indigo’s inherent and recalled abilities in any or all of the four C’s: Clairaudience, Claircognizance, Clairsentients and Clairvoyance. Each Indigo is born with one or more of these four C’s to help them achieve their life’s mission.

Indigo Artist
An Indigo of artistic persuasion; attracted to all forms of music, performance, visual and creative art activities and professions.

Indigo Conceptualist
An Indigo who enjoys project-based activities or jobs, such as those in architecture, archaeology or engineering.

Indigo Humanist
The type of Indigo who actively seeks out service-type professions and/or seeks responsibility to help humanity on a large scale. These also include those who seek to heal others.

Indigo Interdimensional
An Indigo who is able to see the ‘big picture’ of an idea or situation and is comfortable with the responsibility of pulling the strings and calling the shots within a project or profession.

Indigo World
Planet Earth post 2012, where the growing majority of its inhabitants is fully cognizant of their expanded natural abilities and live within the new vibration of compassion, universal harmony and understanding.

I have read a few books about Indigo children and dont really agree with all I find.
The term is used very loosely as I am sure you realise.

To be candied..(why not) I dont actually believe what is written as at all definitive..I am drawn to note that the writer of a book is a writer..books are targeted to sell of course and the focus on Indigo children is just another facet of the whole..
So..the description is arrived at one way or another and people will often try to identify or define as a result.

What I do believe is that at this time..and for always but especially now..children are born with great ability and purpose..that there is a gathering of Light energy for this..and every child so born..of exceptional ability..has choice to engage or not with spiritual aspects of life..teaching healing clairvoyance and so on..
What we call these children matters not..but I certainly do recognise there is much of shaping and design in the children and promise of future also..of course..

So to encapsulate..what we call these gifted children does not matter...definition serves no useful purpose....and these children will be very much of use towards the challenges that our world faces...
They will make their presence known by word and deed..

If what is written fits and is of use to some..great..but it does not really fit much with me..
Sorry if I am rocking the boat a bit but I have to give as I feel..and I am not always right either lol

I'm not sure that I understand all this about Indigo and Crystal children and stuff.
In my opinion, (and please remember that IT IS only my opinion) I believe we are still evolving.... well...truth is we never stopped but now we are becomming more and more like we are meant to be, or how the soul and spirit is meant to be. Meaning being sensitive, intuitive even to the point of being telepathic!

We are all born with the 6th sense so how come most have never used it? Because by the time we are going to school we have been taught to think "logically".
And to cast away the nonsense inside our heads. Have you taken notice of how many people in the world today have either had some kind of spiritual experience, or are psychic themselves? There are millions varying from a sense of knowing to the most famous psychics and mediums. We are becomming more aware, as a whole.

I think the problem is labels. Everything has to have a label these days from mental illness, to what sort of man you are!!! We seem to put more emphasis on something if it has a label. Personally I dont think we need to label ourselves, we just are, or I AM....

I do agree so much here..we are often conditioned to behave in certain ways and conform...this conditioning starts at a very early age and is a constant..given from perhaps parental influence..and later by way of education , media and so on.
When we dont conform..very often doors close and walls are built towards exclusion and isolation..
Patterns become underlined and entrenched so much that we can easily close down gifts that we are born with..for example the imaginary friends that children 'invent' may not be imaginary after all..and this conditioning towards the 'norm' serves to damage potential and expansion of 'spiritual' ability.

I do agree also that labels are used..and misused..as if people need to 'fit' into one category or another..and of course for the best part they dont.
The idea that we can categorise children as Indigo or Crystal is labelling..and I am sure there can arise expectation from some parents as a result..which could carry prospect of some harm.

Similarly I read a book somewhere about Starseed..the book outlined characteristics towards recognition ..so that people could if they wished determine if they belonged to one Starseed aspect or another. That did not fit with me either!

I am not entirely sure of everything in my life but one thing I do know is that it is far from useful to be open about what I believe to all and sundry..that I have to be of some care towards disclosure..and that many conform easily to precepts and conventions ..
To dare to be different takes a lot of courage..and to be different publicly attracts unwelcome attention..
